I am delighted that you have made your way to our community.

I would like to briefly share why I started A Mother's Spark and why I feel so deeply passionate about supporting women and mothers.

From a young age, I had a great passion for personal development. I had the privilege of working in this field throughout my life, making a difference in many people's lives.

This experience led to the vision of one day creating a range of simple, practical and elegant tools giving women from all walks of life access to profoundly transformational knowledge. Throughout my life, I explored a variety of theories and approaches. Almost 15 years ago, I encountered and fell in love with Vedic Philosophy and Spiritual knowledge, which includes the more well-known branches of Yoga, Ayurveda, and Vedanta.

As I encountered varying life experiences, I was drawn to specific aspects of Vedic philosophy that spoke to that part of my life. After the birth of my only child and the specific experiences that resulted, I was drawn to Ayurveda - the ancient and first medicinal body of knowledge - in particular, Ayurvedic postpartum care.
I experienced such a significant decrease in my vitality, both physically, emotionally and mentally, after my son's birth - which continued a few years after his birth – that I sought out to figure out why.

What I discovered blew my mind. And it made me terribly sad that so many new mothers suffer from physical, mental and emotional issues due to a loss of ancient medicinal knowledge that actually empowers new mothers to feel precisely the opposite way!
Full of vitality, rejuvenated and revitalized on all levels!
